From the cluttered, incense-as-strewn desk of Webmaster Scott ~ Greetings to all fans of this site and cyber-stragglers stumbling in for the first time. This site started years ago, grew slowly, had its day in the sun and now is sort of stagnant. My life has changed considerably during the course and it does not look like I'll be back this way anytime soon. I'm onto other things with a plate that's very full ~ no complaints, it's all good stuff, music, homestead, garden, workshop, guitars, etc. ~ but I can't devote the attention this site needs. All the good intent in the world can't stop a river from taking another direction... trying to force it just adds resistance to how it's supposed to flow.
I'll leave it up for history's sake and in tribute to Michael Knust of Fever Tree to whom it is dedicated. But for now until the wheel spins 'round again or other arrangements are made, it won't be added to by me.
I still can't believe the amount of Email I get and I'm sorry for my slow responses. The site survived a huge computer crash AND an Email account issue which took many of you out of my files. I am unable to answer you all as I would wish; know I thank you and appreciate your support of the site, these artists and the great bands & music they have been involved with. Please do come in and look around. Support these elder statesmen of fuzztone & feedback in their modern endeavors both creative and just trying to get along through life... and keep their history safe.
As always, I wish you peace, love & music... and a well-placed blast of atonal feedback never hurts either.

|What is the meaning of all
This is a corner of the web dedicated to the freaked-out fuzz-drenched acid-laced guitar work of the psych era (roughly '66-'72), and the men and tools that created the sounds.
It is in memoriam to Michael Knust, "Michael" from the Houston psych band Fever Tree. Mike lived and breathed music 'til the day he left us on September 15, 2003.

|And who do you think you are?
I am Aidan of Tartouk!
No, actually I'm Scott...
...a big fan of fringe, fuzz & feedback that feels perhaps some of the six-string cosmonauts of the genre haven't gotten their due. You know, a guy like Hendrix cast a loooong shadow. There were many interesting & far out players in those days and the time that followed, and this site is in their honor.
